女士们先生们，早上好！

我从自己的经历中认识到了这一点。

那次我参加了一个作文竞赛。比赛要求写一篇文章来展示我的观点。动笔之前，感觉这好像是很容易的事，我打开电脑，直接开始键入我的观点，并顺利地完成了开头。可是不久，我感觉有点犹豫了，不知道下文该如何继续。我试图寻找范文作为参考，我惊奇地发现，这些范文的观点是如此千篇一律、老调重弹，其结果是我未能从中获取任何灵感。

没有得到一个新的主意，我不得不寻找更多的信息。我上网浏览，并在图书馆里查阅了更多的资料。在一些支持性的数据和想法的帮助下，我完成了这篇凝聚了我的汗水的文章。

然而，令我失望的是，我并没有拿奖。但在深思的时候, 我并不为结果而沮丧，反而为我的进步而高兴。

在准备比赛的过程中，我学到了更多的知识，而不只是局限于这次竞赛的要求。我从中逐渐学会了从多角度认识和分析问题，并进行反复思考。我甚至意识到，也许我从来没有如此认真和积极地探寻过某个问题。

这段经历向我阐明，竞争的准备本身已经是我的成功，因为我挑战了自己，从中受益匪浅。

我的经历让我想起了奥斯卡奖的产生。多年来，许多杰出的演员被提名为奥斯卡奖，这是很普遍的。所有的候选人都非常优秀，他们都在电影业中有所作为，他们中只有很小部分人最终能拿到这个奖。但是我们不能否认他们的努力，因为他们的作品影响了一代或更多代人。这对这些候选人来说是成功的, 不管他们最终是否获奖。
